Philosophy

In order to achieve our vision to be an employer of choice, ACH must attract, retain and motivate a highly qualified and competent work force. In accordance with this objective, our base pay will target the market’s average pay for similar jobs among our peer hospitals/industry, which is obtained from external and custom salary surveys. To ensure internal equity, pay ranges and placement of staff within ranges are made in accordance with established ACH pay practices. Base rates will be supplemented through performance-based merit increases.

In addition to cash compensation, ACH provides comprehensive benefit plans designed to address employee’s health and wellness, retirement accumulation needs, and the employee’s work/life balance. The ACH employee benefit programs are both contributory and non-contributory, and designed to allow flexibility for choices and coverage consistent with individual needs and circumstances and with practices in peer hospitals/industry.
