More details to come this fall!

Knitting for Noggins Update

It's time to think about our 2013 Knitting for Noggins program! Help make a difference in the lives of our patients and families – knit or crochet hats for children of all ages (we always have a need for larger hats for our school-age children and teenagers). Since the beginning of our program, we have collected over 244,000 hats to keep kids' heads warm! Please visit our website, www.knittingfornoggins.org for the specific details and information. Our updated brochure and donor form will be added later this summer, and we will begin accepting hats again in September 2013 (through March 2014).

Family Packs Needed

We have a need for "family packs" - a Ziploc bag (7-8 inches or 1 quart) full of small toiletries and personal hygiene items. Travel size items are desired for convenience-toothbrushes, small toothpastes, mouthwash, combs, soaps, shampoo/conditioners, lotions, deodorants, razors, and small sewing kits. Small writing tablets and ink pens are also appreciated. These items are provided to our parents and caregivers who have a need for them during their hospital stay.

New Parent Planner

Babies don't come with instruction manuals. But this is the next best thing!

Our team of pediatric experts has developed a user-friendly planner that is great for new parents. The New Parent Planner provides important information about caring for a new baby – from how to make sure your baby receives the best medical care possible to dosage charts and safety tips. The New Parent Planner also helps parents organize important paperwork related mom and baby's care.

If you or anyone you know is expecting a new bundle of joy, click here to request your FREE New Parent Planner from Arkansas Children's Hospital.
