Two Little Monkeys

by Mem Fox

Two little monkeys, Cheeky and Chee, are playing when danger suddenly approaches in the form of a leopard. With just the right amount of suspense for little ones, these two crafty monkeys manage their escape by climbing high up a tree with only a few near misses. The wonderful rhythm of words will delight the youngest listeners, who will join in on the refrain, "One named Cheeky, one named Chee," over and over again. Author Mem Fox has succeeded at giving listeners a fun romp across the pages while illustrator Jill Barton brings these little monkeys to life with soft watercolor illustrations.
