In the Spotlight
9-11 Anniversary Toolkit from the National Alliance for Grieving Children, www.nationalallianceforgrievingchildren.org
The events of September 11, 2001 started a nationwide conversation about grief. The National Alliance for Grieving Children is a network around the United States and internationally of programs that serve grieving children, teens and families every day.
As our nation remembers the events of September 11, 2001, we hope that parents, teachers, community groups, youth leaders, mentors, administrators and anyone who works with and cares for children and teens will take this opportunity to educate themselves about the needs of children and teens who are grieving the loss of someone close to them. Here are some resources provided by the NAGC and its members.
