Festival of Stars 2012

*Please note the drop-off location.  Donations will be accepted at our East Campus building (corner of 10 ^th and Children's Way).  Look for signs directing you to this location (there will be a covered drive-thru area for convenient drop-off).

Can't drop off items but still want to help? When you make a monetary gift to Festival of Stars, your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar by E-Z Mart Stores up to $10,000. You'll double your impact.

Knitting for Noggins

Since the beginning of our program, we have collected over 217,000 hats to keep our kids' heads warm.  Help make a difference in the lives of patients and families at Arkansas Children's Hospital!  Knit or crochet hats for children of all ages through our Knitting for Noggins program.  

We will collect hats now through March 2013.  Please feel free to mail or drop off your hats:  Arkansas Children's Hospital, Volunteer Services, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.  Please click here  to download and print a donor form to bring with your hats (please provide us with an accurate number of hats you are donating). 

Festival of Stars Music Performances

Arkansas Children's Hospital is again celebrating the season by hosting the Festival of Stars.  This festival is a time for ACH to celebrate patients, families, donors, and volunteers.  Festival of Stars musical performances will be scheduled in the ACH lobby December 3^rd through December 21 ^st.  We are looking for groups to be musical performers!  Performances will be scheduled for 45 minutes (30 minutes to perform and 15 minutes for set-up/clean-up) and performance times will be scheduled as follows:

December 3-6 - Performance times are 11:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m., or 12:30 p.m.
December 10-14 - Performance times are 11:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m., or 12:30 p.m.
December 17-21 - Performance times are 11:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m., or 12:30 p.m.

One of the most valued donations is the donation of time.  The Festival of Stars is a great opportunity for groups to share their talents with the patients and families of Arkansas.  If you know of a group interested in performing, please contact Melissa Wolfe in Volunteer Services at 501-364-1825 or at WolfeMB@archildrens.org.  With your help, we can continue to offer care, love, and hope throughout the holiday season.

Foundation Events

Holiday Cards to Benefit ACH
This year, don't just send a card, make a difference! Through the ACH Auxiliary Holiday Card Project, cards and other miscellaneous items will be available now through Friday, Dec. 14. Six patient-designed holiday cards and a card by featured artist Janice Lohstoeter Hutchinson are currently on sale. Also available for purchase are t-shirts, gift tags, ornaments and medical play kits for children. All items are currently available at www.archildrens.org/holidaycards and the Playaway Gift Shop. Breakfast with Santa - Saturday, Dec. 1
Breakfast with Santa, presented by Committee for the Future, will be held from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Children's Hall on the ACH campus. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Entry to Breakfast with Santa will include a pancake breakfast cooked by the Little Rock Fire Department, a photo with the jolly old man himself, activities, crafts and much, much more. Miracle Ball - Saturday, Dec. 8
The 2012 Miracle Ball, presented by the ACH Auxiliary and the ACH Foundation, will be held Saturday, Dec. 8 in Children's Hall on the ACH campus. This year's Miracle Ball will be the official end to the hospital's year-long celebration of 100 years of providing care, love and hope to Arkansas children.
