    Physician Bio

    Dr. Mary Huckabee is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH). Dr. Huckabee serves as the Co-Medical Director of the Intermediate Care Unit, Associate Director of the Pediatric Clerkship, and Co-Director of the Pediatric Resident Mock Code Program. Dr. Huckabee practices as a Hospitalist and in the Emergency Department.

    Dr. Huckabee received her medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2003. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at UAMS and joined the UAMS faculty in 2006. Dr. Huckabee is board certified in Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

    Dr. Huckabee is very active in both resident and medical student educational activities. She has been awarded the Department of Pediatrics Educator of the Year Award, Dean's Educational Excellence Award, Best Faculty Teacher on the junior student pediatric clerkship, and the Red Sash Award.
