Elizabeth McDonough M.D.

Dr. McDonough completed medical school at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She then went to Vanderbilt University for pediatric residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship. She is board certified in pediatrics and board eligible in pediatric gastroenterology. She joined the pediatric gastroenterology group at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in 2012. Dr. McDonough focuses on general gastroenterology and nutrition with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease and is the director of the IBD education clinic and self-management clinic. She is also the ACH physician leader for ImproveCareNow, a national network for quality improvement in IBD.
