    Physician Bio

    Dr. Rolla Shbarou is a Child Neurologist and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH). Her clinical interests include epilepsy and neurofibromatosis. She serves as the Child Neurology Residency Program Director at UAMS/ACH, and is the Medical Director of the Neurofribramatosis Clinic at ACH.

    Dr. Shbarou received her B.S. in Biology from American University of Beirut in Lebanon. She earned her medical degree and completed a residency in Pediatrics at the Lebanon School of Medicine, American University in Beirut. She completed additional training in Pediatrics at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey, and a residency in Child Neurology at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina. She served as a fellow in Epilepsy and Neurophysiology at UAMS/ACH. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology, and by the American Board of Pediatrics.

    She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and Child Neurology Society.

    Clinical Interests: Epilepsy, neurofibromatosis.
