    Dr. Dala Zakaria, is an Assistant Professor for Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

    Dr. Zakaria received her medical degree from the University of Damascus School of Medicine in Damascus, Syria in 1999. She completed two pediatric residencies, one at the Children's Hospital of Damascus University in 2002 and the second at the Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, Georgia in 2010.

    Dr. Zakaria joined the staff at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2010 for her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Arkansas Children's Hospital, which she completed in 2013. Her clinical interests include general cardiology, imaging including transthoracic echocardiogram and transesophageal echocardiogram. She also has special interest in the field of fetal echocardiogram.

    Dr. Zakaria is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Cardiology, Arkansas Medical Society and the American Society of Echocardiography.
