Ismal Zamilpa M.D.

Ismael Zamilpa, MD, is a physician at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in the Department of Urology and at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

He completed his urology residency at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. From 2004 to 2008 Dr. Zamilpa was on faculty at the University of New Mexico, Division of Urology. He then completed a pediatric urology fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, WA. Dr. Zamilpa is certified by the American Board of Urology.

Besides enjoying all aspects of pediatric urology, his areas of interest include complex genitourinary reconstruction and robotic applications in pediatric urology.
