(LITTLE ROCK, ARK. - Oct. 4) - Robbie Crider Weaver has been promoted to provider relations director at Arkansas Children's Hospital, according to Beth Petlak, executive director for the Children's Healthcare System, Inc. (CHCS) and vice president of Managed Care / Business Development for Arkansas Children's Hospital.
"We're very excited to see Robbie promoted to this critical position for CHCS. It's a great opportunity to utilize her customer service and leadership expertise in helping us provide quality management between Arkansas Children's Hospital and a network of approximately 400 primary care and specialty providers in providing comprehensive services for children," Petlak said.
In her new role, Weaver will be responsible for planning, developing and managing the CHCS participating provider network. Weaver began her career at ACH in 1989 serving in a variety of roles including contracts manager, insurance analyst and lead insurance specialist. Prior to 2001, her experience was in Admissions in roles responsible for managed care referrals and financial counseling. She has served on a number of ACH/CHCS committees. In addition to the leadership she provides for CHCS, she also is a leader in her community serving as a member of the Des Arc School Board.
