Walnut Oral Immunotherapy for Tree Nut Allergy

Summary

The purpose of this study is to find out if walnut oral immunotherapy can be used as a treatment for persons with walnut and tree nut allergies. Participants will ingest walnut flour daily for approximately 3 years.

Study Eligibility

Age 6-45 of age, convincing clinical history of walnut or another tree nut allergy and either a positive Immunoglobulin E (blood test) or positive prick skin test to walnut and another tree nut, provide a medical history and pass a screening physical exam, positive oral food challenges to walnut and another tree nut.
