"Healthy Habits" Classroom Presentations

One important component of the Community Outreach Department is the "Healthy Habits" classroom presentations. Last school year, "Healthy Habits" was presented to over 14,000  children across the state. These fun and informative classroom presentations are 30-minutes in length and are geared for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade. 

As part of each presentation, a short, high-energy DVD is used to teach children the importance of healthy eating and having an active lifestyle to maintain good health. Each child will receive a goody bag with a coloring/activity booklet about healthy habits, crayons, a toothbrush, a small tube of toothpaste, and a  jump rope. 

Arkansas Children's Hospital and the statewide Circle of Friends organization provides presentations and all health materials FREE of charge to your school.
