Care Provided:

• Medical follow-up of conditions common to the very-low-birthweight infant, such as significant neurologic problems, chronic lung disease, necrotizing enterocolitis, feeding and swallowing difficulties, failure-to-thrive, apnea of prematurity, etc.
• Evaluation of growth and development, early signs of neuromotor delay and cerebral palsy for former patients of neonatal intensive care facilities
• Consultation with occupational, physical and speech therapists
• Nutritional and social counseling
