Tissue Typing Laboratory
The HLA Laboratory, located at Arkansas Children's Hospital, is a service offered by UAMS. The HLA Laboratory supports the clinical solid organ transplantation programs for the state of Arkansas. These services include identification of specific tissue antigens including HLA-A, B, C, DR, DQ, lymphocytotoxicity cross matches and determining presence and specificity of circulating anti- HLA antibody. • Supports the clinical solid organ transplantation-deceased and live donor programs for the state of Arkansas
• Supports HSC/BM transplantation-related and unrelated donors
• Histocompatibility testing for other clinical purpose-disease studies
