About the Weight Management Clinic
Appointments
A referral from the primary care provider (PCP) is needed to schedule an appointment. Initial screening is done in the PCP's office with regards to co-morbidities and readiness to change. When the PCP identifies a possible clinic patient, the family receives information about the clinic from their PCP. Once the family decides to commit to the program, the PCP provides:
- Completed referral form.
- Copy of Fasting Labs: (CMP, CBC, Trig, Total Chol, LDL, HDL, Insulin, HbA1c, Vit D 25, TSH, Free T4, ALT, AST)
- Completed New Patient Survey (< 11 year old Caregiver must complete, if the patient is > 12 years of age the new Patient must complete)

The clinic will be held at Arkansas Children's Hospital's West Little Rock Clinic.

Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
What to Bring
The Appointment center will mail a letter to inform you and your child/teen of your child's appointment. The child/teen needs to be accompanied by a parent/caregiver at all clinic visits. If you have a copy of the patient's lab results, please bring the copy to the visit. Comfortable shoes are necessary as the patient may be subjected to a treadmill test.

WHAM!
Every Saturday starting January 5, 2013 - 9:00 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.
Both classes are FREE and intended for parents and children ages 6 years and up. Each are held at ACH Main campus in the East Campus building Fitness Center located at 10th and Bishop Streets.
