One in five families who visit the Arkansas Children's Hospital Emergency Department don't know where their child's next meal will come from. We're working with several organizations to change that. As part of the Natural Wonders initiative, families will now be able to receive assistance applying for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) on the ACH campus. A mobile enrollment vehicle will be stationed in front of the hospital on certain days each week, as the organizations announced at this Aug. 21 news conference. We're doing our best to make sure we have healthy plates for healthy children!
