Brain & Spinal Cord Tumor Clinic
Hearing that your child has a brain tumor can be the most difficult news imaginable to any family.
Arkansas Children’s Hospital has an entire team of experts, dedicated to caring for the unique and complex needs of pediatric brain and spinal cord tumor patients and their families.
Children with brain or spinal tumors may face a range of issues due to their tumors and the treatment that they receive. Our team helps families overcome any challenge - before, during and after treatment – to improve the quality of life for any child in our care. We work together as a team – through a weekly multidisciplinary brain tumor clinic and tumor board discussion so every one of our patients has access to the expertise and experience of a multiple-specialty team. This partnership ensures collaborative clinical diagnoses and treatment decisions for patients.
In addition, we have access to every aspect of Arkansas Children’s state of the art pediatric specialty care services and take part in numerous clinical trials to work towards curing and improving outcomes for children with brain tumors.
If you have any questions regarding the services we offer, please do not hesitate to contact us.
