Employee Recognition

Arkansas Children’s employees are vital to delivering the exceptional care and experience our patients and families expect. As a valuable member of our team, we want to celebrate and reward outstanding performance. We offer a variety of ways in which we celebrate deserving members of our OneTeam.

 

Arkansas Children’s recognizes all of its employees and medical staff during Children’s Hospital Week. This week is packed full of events and gifts to show our appreciation for all of those who take care of the children of Arkansas as they deliver on our promise of unprecedented child health: defined and delivered.

The annual Arkansas Children’s Awards Celebration, held in February, recognizes employees who have been nominated by their peers for outstanding representation of our core values and for the Champion for Children award. We also celebrate winners of the prestigious Ruth Olive Beall Award, and Diane Mackey Award, as well as other physician and research-related awards. In addition, recognition is given to individuals celebrating 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45+ years of service during the prior year. This a celebration filled with gratitude, joy, and appreciation for all the outstanding work at Arkansas Children’s each year.

Arkansas Children’s hosts a number of employee events throughout the year to encourage and enjoy each other’s company. These include events such as a baseball night at the Arkansas Travelers game, ice cream socials, holiday parties, Veteran’s day celebrations, and much more. Our goal is to help employees know how much they are appreciated and valued.
