Community Outreach programs are just another way that Arkansas Children’s Hospital is striving to make a positive impact on children throughout our state.  As Arkansas’s only pediatric medical center, ACH has taken a proactive leadership role in reaching children and families with informative and fun health education.  We have developed several statewide outreach programs with a focus on wellness, prevention, and health promotion.  Major support for these outreach efforts is provided by the Statewide Circle of Friends organization and by Kohl’s Department Stores.  For additional information on programs, available supplies, or to schedule a visit to your community, please call ACH Community Outreach at 501.364.KIDS.

• Scout - Scout is the newest member of the ACH family. He is here at ACH to help visitors find their way around the ACH campus.
• Little Rockers Kid’s Marathon - ACH is a proud sponsor of the Little Rockers Kid's Marathon.
• Riverfest Kid’s Zone - Find out where you can find the ACH Community Outreach Team during Little Rock's Annual Memorial Day Weekend festival. 
• Summer Cereal Drive - The Community Outreach Department coordinates ACH's participation in the annual Summer Cereal Drive to benefit the Arkansas Food Bank.  
• King Elementary - Partner in Education - ACH is a long time supporter and founding partner in education with Martin Luther King Elementary.

• Healthy Habits - “Healthy Habits” is a fun and informative 30-minute classroom presentation geared for Kindergarten through 4th grade students.  Find out how you can have "Healthy Habits" at your school.
• F.A.N. Club - The F.A.N. Club is a presentation-based program targeting middle school students who will learn the importance of daily physical activity, as well as fun and creative ways to include exercise into an active lifestyle. • Video Library - DVD and VHS copies that cover various health topics may be checked-out FREE of charge from the Community Outreach Department.
• Kid's Health Web Resource - This web-based program is a terrific resource for medical information, and includes interactive games and quizzes.

• Fire Safety House - The mobile Kohl’s Fire Safety House helps teach children how to best respond to a house fire situation. Learn more about Fire Safety or how to schedule the Fire Safety House at your event.
