Head Injury Clinic

This clinic is designed to help the child and family with long-term effects of post-traumatic complications from head injuries. Patients follow up here after inpatient rehabilitation in the Progressive Rehabilitation Program, and we accept other referrals as well. The clinic addresses medical and psychological concerns including diagnosis of late medical, neurological or psychological complications. We may provide medication management, neuropsychology referrals, on-going assistance with home, educational and community re-entry, social work consultation, and screening and follow-up of dysphagia and cognitive or higher level language issues with speech and language pathology.
