About Our Experts
When your child visits the Division of Urology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, a world-class medical team will be ready to help.
Our specialists include three board-certified urologists, trained in state-of-the-art minimally invasive surgical options. Your child will also benefit from multiple specialty nurses who have trained in Urology.
Pediatric urologists at Arkansas Children’s Hospital have years of experience treating urology issues that are unique to childhood. They understand the delicate nature of children’s urologic systems and offer compassionate care of the highest standard.
Each ACH urologist is board-certified and held a Urology fellowship before going into practice. All ACH urologists perform robotic surgery, and two also dedicate time to care of children with spina bifida.
ACH Urologists also serve as faculty members at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where they are engaged in research on issues ranging from hypospadias to incontinence.
Our staff includes certified nurses with advanced training in the care of children with urologic complications. Families have access to their expertise in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Children in our care benefit from far more than our expert physicians and nurses. They also have access to physical therapy, nutritionists, psychology support, child life specialists and a host of other services.
In some cases, post-operative consults can be conducted through telemedicine. Our urologists love being able to connect with families and save them a trip for a brief visit.
