Volunteer Organizations

ACH Auxiliary
Founded in 1967, the Arkansas Children's Hospital Auxiliary continues to serve patients and families through fundraising and service projects. With a membership of more than 300, the Auxiliary supports the hospital through many fundraising projects, including Arkansas a la Carte, Miracle Ball, the Playaway Gift Shop and Star ACHievers, an educational program for 9th grade girls. Each year, Auxiliary holiday cards featuring artwork by patients of ACH are sold through retail outlets, by mail, by phone and online.

Circle of Friends
Circle of Friends members coordinate fundraising and outreach events throughout the state. Circle of Friends was founded in 1983 and today more than 600 members belong to chapters in Arkansas River Valley (Pope & Yell counties), Blytheville, Faulkner County, Garland County, Harrison, Jefferson County, Jonesboro, Lawrence County, Magnolia, Northwest Arkansas (Washington & Benton counties), Greene County, Spring River (Sharp & Fulton Counties) and Texarkana. Committee for the Future
Committee for the Future is an auxiliary organization of Arkansas Children’s Hospital comprising more than 100 young professionals and community leaders from the central Arkansas area. Founded in 1986, the Committee’s purpose is to raise funds for Arkansas Children’s Hospital and to promote the hospital by providing information and education. The Committee achieves its purpose through four annual fund raising projects, monthly membership luncheons and education campaigns.

Foundation Board of Directors
The Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation Board of Directors is a selected group of dedicated individuals from various fields and various communities throughout the state. Foundation Board members advise Foundation staff, develop strategies and implement tools to raise more funds for ACH. Their role is to ensure that the Foundation is managed in the most open and cost-effective manner.

Professional Advisory Council
The Professional Advisory Council is a group of more than 400 professionals who receive a monthly estate planning newsletter and meet to review new tax laws and estate planning techniques and tools. There are five chapters throughout Arkansas, and each chapter meets three times a year. PAC members are attorneys, CPAs, financial planners, trust officers, investment managers, real estate professionals and insurance professionals. These professionals work with clients who could benefit from charitable gifts as used in estate and tax planning.
