(Statewide) May 1, 2018 - EZ Spanish Media, parent company of La Zeta 106.3 FM radio station in Little Rock and La Zeta 95.7 FM in Springdale, recently raised $314,719 for Arkansas Children's.

Aimed at bilingual Hispanic listeners, the Creadores de Milagros (Miracle Makers) Radiothon was hosted on April 13-15 in Little Rock and was the sixth annual La Zeta 106.3 FM Radiothon. A second radiothon was hosted in Springdale on April 27-29—marking it the ninth annual La Zeta 95.7 FM Radiothon.

Throughout the last nine years, EZ Spanish Media radiothons in Northwest Arkansas and Central Arkansas have raised $2.19 million dollars.

“Arkansas Children’s is grateful for the community’s commitment to children by supporting the Creadores de Milagros Radiothon,” said Vanessa Delgadillo, director of annual gifts at Arkansas Children’s Foundation. “For nearly a decade, the community has continued to show support for the children in the region by donating their time and funds to Arkansas Children’s.”

During the annual radiothons, patients and caregivers are interviewed throughout each day, putting into words the stories of Arkansas Children’s mission to champion children by making them better today and healthier tomorrow. Listeners were encouraged to call and make a donation or become a “Miracle Maker” through ongoing monthly contributions.

This gift from EZ Spanish Media and the Hispanic community supports Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Arkansas Children’s Northwest.
