Safer Teen Driving

Are you confident or concerned? www.cdc.gov/parentsarethekeyTo a teenager, driving means more FREEDOM.  Learning to drive is a big step towards being an adult.  But teens are not adults yet and new teen drivers need time and experience to be safe drivers behind the wheel.  In Arkansas, teens are dying in car crashes at rates two times that of the United States.  Safe driving skills and a graduated approach to driving can protect teens and others on the road with them.

The IPC is completing research and education activities to educate parents, teens, medical professionals, and educators on safer teen driving.
