Outpatient Services

Many of the services provided by Children’s Heart Center are performed on an outpatient basis. The Cardiology Clinic, located on the 2nd floor of the West wing, sees patients Monday through Friday. This is also where the transplant clinic, arrhythmia clinic, pacemaker clinic, cardiac surgery and adult congenital heart disease clinics are held each week. The clinic is joined to the Heart Station where noninvasive testing is performed.

Additionally, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences conducts the following clinics:

Regional Cardiology Clinics :

  • El Dorado – every 3 months
  • Fort Smith – monthly
  • Harrison – every 6 months
  • Helena – every 6 months
  • Jonesboro – monthly
  • Fayetteville – monthly
  • Texarkana – monthly

All cardiology clinics are available to your child by physician referral. Talk with your child’s physician and tell him/her you would like to be referred to ACH. Have the doctor contact Arkansas Children’s Hospital at 501-364-1100 and ask for the Physician Services Department to make a referral.
