Arkansas Children’s Hospital is home to Arkansas’ ONLY Burn Center, treating severely burned children and adults from around the state. More than 200 severely injured patients are treated in the Burn Center at Arkansas Children's Hospital each year. The Burn Center recently celebrated 50 years of compassionate care and national leadership in the field of burn treatment, prevention, and research. The Burn Center's new medical director Dr. William Hickerson leads us into the next 50 years.
