Burn Clinic

The outpatient burn service offers comprehensive care for small burns from initial management through rehabilitation. The clinic also provides follow-up for larger burn injuries after their acute care hospitalization. Burn care is provided by an experienced team of burn specialists including surgeons, nurses and occupational and physical therapists. Burn rehabilitation is provided to assist with return to school or work and to resume the normal activities of daily living. Additional specialized services (including psychology, nutrition, etc.) are available as needed to assist with the unique problems of burned patients and their families.

Note: This clinic is available to your child by physician referral. Talk with your child’s physician and tell him/her you would like to be referred to ACH. Have the doctor contact the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Physician Referral Services Department to make a referral. If your child does not have a regular physician, please call 501-364-5901 and we will be happy to recommend one in your area.
