Burn/Plastic

Through our outpatient services, the residents of Arkansas are offered comprehensive burn care during the acute and rehabilitative phases of the burn injury. Burn Clinic includes the care of small outpatient burns and follow-up after discharge from the hospital for larger burns. We offer treatment for thermal, chemical and electrical injuries. This burn care is delivered in collaboration with Social Services, Nutrition, Child Life, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.


Note: This clinic is available to your child by physician referral. Talk with your child’s physician and tell him/her you would like to be referred to ACH. Have the doctor contact the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Physician Referral Services Department to make a referral. If your child does not have a regular physician, please call 501-364-5901 and we will be happy to recommend one in your area.
