The Pediatric Cardiology Clinics provide opportunities for consultation and
diagnosis of children with possible heart conditions. Follow-up is provided
for children with acquired and congenital heart defects, both before and after
surgery. An Arrhythmia Clinic, a Transplant Clinic, a Pacemaker Clinic and an
Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic are also available.
All non-invasive procedures are available including X-ray, ECG, ambulatory
ECG monitoring (Holter scanning), transtelephonic ECG recording, echocardiography
and exercise stress testing.
Regional Pediatric Cardiac Clinics, sponsored by UAMS, are held monthly in
Fort Smith, Jonesboro, Springdale and Texarkana. Regional Clinics are held twice
a year in El Dorado, Helena and Harrison.
Note: This clinic is available to your child by physician referral.
Talk with your child’s physician and tell him/her you would like to be
referred to ACH. Have the doctor contact the Arkansas Children’s Hospital
Physician Referral Services Department to make a referral. If your child does
not have a regular physician, please call 501-364-5901 and we will be happy
to recommend one in your area.
