Day Medicine

This unit provides an area for outpatients who require nursing care and observation during or following procedures and treatments. Common procedures include sedation recovery, pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care, blood transfusions, immune globulin therapy and endocrine testing.

Note: This clinic is available to your child by physician referral. Talk with your child’s physician and tell him/her you would like to be referred to ACH. Have the doctor contact the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Physician Referral Services Department to make a referral. If your child does not have a regular physician, please call 501-364-5901 and we will be happy to recommend one in your area.
