Orthopaedic Limb Reconstruction Clinic

Examples of conditions treated at this clinic include congenital limb deficiencies such as fibular hemimelia, proximal femoral focal deficiency, hemiatrophy, radial hypoplasia, multiple epiphyseal dysplasia, vitamin D resistant rickets with bowing and limb length inequality. The clinic also treats acquired conditions such as bone loss from fractures, osteomyelitis, nonunions, growth arrests from both trauma and infections and malunions or significant deformities of bone.


Note: This clinic is available to your child by physician referral. Talk with your child’s physician and tell him/her you would like to be referred to ACH. Have the doctor contact the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Physician Referral Services Department to make a referral. If your child does not have a regular physician, please call 501-364-5901 and we will be happy to recommend one in your area.
