Heart Station The Heart Station offers state-of-the-art, non-invasive cardiac diagnostic
studies that are available as an outpatient or inpatient service. Electrocardiograms,
ambulatory 24-hour Holter monitoring and transtelephonic pacemaker and rhythm
analysis are available. Comprehensive echocardiography and doppler evaluation
(with color flow mapping) including transesophageal echocardiography can be
performed to evaluate congenital and acquired cardiac disease. This includes
color flow and continuous wave capabilities to evaluate valve flow, intracardiac
shunts and flow disturbances. Cardiac and cardiopulmonary stress testing is
available.
