The Physician Referral Services department is staffed by experienced individuals
who will schedule your appointments or help direct your referral to the appropriate
clinic. After 5 pm and on weekends, the hospital operator will answer and transfer
your call appropriately.

The Arkansas Children’s Hospital Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours
a day and is always available to ill or injured children. The number listed
is a direct line to the Emergency Department.
To refer a child to any of ACH’s 72 specialty clinics, you may call the
clinic directly or the Physician Referral Services number.

The General Pediatric Clinic located on the campus of Arkansas Children’s
Hospital is open Monday-Friday, 8:45am-10pm; Saturday and Sunday 10am-10pm.
Inpatient Services
To refer a child for inpatient admission or treatment, and ask to be connected

This line rings directly Insurance Specialists at Arkansas Children’s
Hospital who will facilitate any referrals you might need from ACH primary care
physicians.
Transport - 24 hours a day

This number will connect you directly to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital
Dispatch Center where you will receive immediate assistance with your transport
needs. You will be connected with a physician in the appropriate intensive care
service per your needs.

Care and Eating Disorders Clinic; Asthma Clinic; Infant Asthma/Recurrent Wheezing
