Erica Monday Joins Arkansas Children’s Hospital as Physician Liaison

LITTLE ROCK, AR. (Dec. 8, 2008) – Arkansas Children’s Hospital has hired Erica Monday, a specialist trained in health care relations, to join its team of physician liaisons. In her new position, Monday will travel the state to provide a communication link between Arkansas Children’s Hospital and its referring physicians. She will be responsible for developing and maintaining the hospital’s relationships with physicians, which means providing assistance with everything from making clinic appointments to providing the hospital with feedback about referring practices’ clinical needs.
Monday brings to Arkansas Children’s Hospital nearly 10 years of experience in the field. She previously held positions at Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute, where she was a patient representative, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where Monday was a physician relations coordinator. She holds bachelor’s degrees in science and biology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Monday is a member of the American Association of Physician Liaisons and serves on the planning committee for the organization’s 2009 conference.
