Fracture Clinic

Problems of an orthopaedic nature involving the bones, joints and muscles in children are seen in this clinic. Such conditions include congenital, acquired and traumatic limb deformities, scoliosis and spinal deformities, neuromuscular disease or any problems with bone, joints, muscles, and ligaments that affect growing children.

Follow-up care for problems related to fractures of bones, dislocations of joints and other traumatic disorders is provided. The clinic also treats congenital limb deficiencies such as fibular himimelia, proximal femoral focal deficiency, hemiatrophy, radial hypoplasia, multiple epiphyseal dysplasia, vitamin D-resistant rickets with bowing and limb length inequality, as well as acquired conditions such as bone loss from fractures, osteomyelitis, nonunions, growth arrests from both trauma and infections and malunions or significant deformities of bone.
