What is "Government Relations" at ACH?
Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH), like most health care providers, is influenced greatly by local, state and federal health care policies. From local safety laws to state health standards, to federal organ transplant guidelines, government plays a major role in how Arkansas Children’s Hospital serves its patients. Because of this, ACH has a Government Relations office that is responsible for researching, monitoring and, when needed, supporting worthy legislation for the good of our hospital as well as the children of Arkansas.
As part of this effort, ACH’s Government Relations Department has started an on-going grassroots advocacy program to help support issues important to us. Elected representatives do care what their constituents think and how their votes affect their district, but many times healthcare needs for children go unheard because kids do not vote and lack a political voice. Join ACH's grassroots organization to support and participate in this advocacy effort on behalf of Arkansas’ youth and our hospital. Help us build for the future by developing relationships and avenues of communication with your elected officials. Your voice can make a difference.
Join GRO, ACH's grassroots organization. Receive email alerts about proposed legislative changes that affect children's health care. Your participation truly helps us make a difference!
