Web Based Lecture Series for Medical Students: Anesthesiology Clerkship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences This Web site is designed to provide a basic background of anesthesiology for medical students during a one-week anesthesiology rotation at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. These lectures are developed with the aim of providing high quality teaching in an acute medical care setting to medical students during a five-day rotation at our institution. The rotation uses a combination of teaching methods including didactic lectures, experiential learning using mannequins; interactive problem based learning discussion case scenarios, reading of provided course material, guided discussions in the operative room. To above-mentioned tools for learning we added Web based lectures series for the convenience of the medical students promoting self-learning.
