Dr. Sood’s current research areas of interest include the identification and implementation of novel therapeutics for food allergy and the study of immune dysregulatory pathways in food allergy. To this effect, she is currently a co-investigator in the NIH-funded Consortium for Food Allergy Research as well as industry-sponsored clinical trials, studying therapeutic interventions for single and multi-food allergic individuals. Dr. Sood is also a co-investigator in clinical trials for novel therapeutics for eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). She looks forward to continuing to build on our institution’s strong foundation in excellence, expertise, and leadership in food allergy.
