Breastfeeding Support For Patients and Families

Arkansas Children's is proud to support World Breastfeeding Week Aug. 1 – 7. The patient and family experience is a priority at Arkansas Children’s and we welcome and support breastfeeding families on our campuses.

Recently, the MESA (Milk Expression Station Availability) task force was created to evaluate space and resources for mothers who want to breastfeed their babies during their visit. The task force is a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals committed to showing compassion to breastfeeding families at Arkansas Children’s.
