Care Close To Home: Southwest Little Rock

August 11, 2017

Thousands of children in Southwest Little Rock now have access to primary care with the opening of our new clinic at 9015 Dailey Drive. The Southwest Little Rock Community Clinic will serve families in the immediate and surrounding areas. Nestled between nearby walking trails and close to the Pulaski Southwest Health Unit and Southwest Little Rock Community Center, the clinic is an integral part of our statewide network of care that was created to serve the 710,000 children living in the state.

"We do see that there's a need for easier access to pediatric care in the community. There are some great physicians who are already home here in southwest Little Rock,” said Marcy Doderer, president and CEO of Arkansas Children’s.

“One of the reasons we came to this part of Little Rock is because we know our Hispanic community needs outreach and it's better to be closer to where they live and where they work,” Dr. Ochoa said.

“Any kind of service that a child would need, we can provide here. Well child visits, sports physicals, acute illnesses, chronic disease management. We're happy to see anyone.”

There will also be bilingual staff members at the clinic to assist patients and families. We look forward to seeing you at the new Southwest Little Rock Community Clinic!
