Protecting your baby is our top concern. Young children and infants are at a very high risk for serious complications from respiratory viral illnesses like the common cold. In order to keep our tiniest patients safe, Arkansas Children's Hospital is limiting visitors to our NICU effective December 26.

  • Only four adults identified as parents/primary caregivers or caregivers per family will be allowed to visit a patient.
  • Children (including Siblings) will NOT be allowed to visit.
  •

These are temporary restrictions. Thank you for helping us keep your baby safe from respiratory viral illnesses!

Respiratory Viral Symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Body aches or headache
  • Chills
  • Runny nose, sneezing
  • Cough, sore throat
  • Vomiting, diarrhea

If you’re unable to visit the NICU, how can you get updates about your baby?

  • Talk to your nurse over the phone.
  • Ask about NicView camera access (live-streaming).
