Registration Cost

$80 for conference (breakfast and lunch included) [$40 for ACH/UAMS employees]

Program Description 

ACH Clinical Nutrition Department presents this conference to provide continuing education in pediatric nutrition for dietitians, nurses, diet technicians, and other health care providers. 

Objectives

At the conclusion of this conference, the participants should be able to: 

  • Understand and implement methods of assessing growth and nutritional needs of infants and children of varying ages 
  • Become familiar with nutrition management of a variety of disease states, including diabetes, metabolics, cystic fibrosis, and GI disorders. 
  • Identify most up-to-date recommendations for early introduction of top food allergens

Evaluation

Evaluation by questionnaire will address program content and presentation. A continuing education certificate will be awarded at the end of the conference.
