Clinical Trials & Research

The pathology team works on clinical trials in collaboration with doctors and nurses at Arkansas Children’s. Our pathologists frequently send tissue samples to the Children’s Oncology Group for research studies.

As a member of the Children’s Oncology Group, Arkansas Children’s and its patients have access to nearly 100 active clinical trials open at any given time.

The Children’s Oncology Group is a National Cancer Institute supported clinical trials group and the world’s largest group devoted to childhood and adolescent cancer research. The group unites 9,000 pediatric cancer experts at more than 200 leading children’s hospitals, universities, and cancer centers in North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.
