Medicine Unit - 4C

Children needing care for pulmonary, behavioral or other medical conditions can receive care on Medicine Unit 4C at Arkansas Children’s. We treat a full range of pediatric conditions including diabetes, renal problems, eating disorders, Cystic Fibrosis and other medical and surgical conditions.

Located on the fourth floor of the main hospital, you can access Medicine Unit 4C through the orange elevator and to the left. The unit features 23 private rooms so you are able to stay with your child during their care. All rooms in the unit support isolation and three negative pressure rooms are available.

Our interdisciplinary team includes doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, dieticians, social workers, Child Life specialists and more. We work together with disciplines throughout the hospital, including pulmonary, endocrine, nephrology and gastroenterology to ensure your child receives the best possible care.
