Learn how MyChart helps Shellee, one of our patient moms.

I am a mom of two kiddos, ages 8 and 4. Both have been patients at Arkansas Children's, but my son, Beau, is seen by multiple clinics at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, including ENT, Allergy/Asthma, and most frequently the Eye Clinic. We signed up for MyChart as soon as it was available, and it has become our number one tool for communication with our care team(s). It has become invaluable to me for keeping up with appointments and medications, and I can manage both kids' medical records via this one app, which is an added bonus.

Beau has been a patient at Arkansas Children's Hospital since before he was a year old. Our first experience was in the Emergency Department, followed by a stay in the Infant and Toddler Unit and multiple clinic follow-ups.

We are seen most frequently in the Eye Clinic, but through MyChart, I've been able to manage and coordinate his care from all clinics through the tools MyChart provides. From scheduling (or rescheduling) appointments to immediate access to our providers for after-visit questions, MyChart has made life so much easier. No more making calls, waiting for a callback from a nurse or transferring from line-to-line.

What once would have taken a full day's worth of work, I've been able to do within minutes. I'm also able to ask questions and get refills on prescriptions, even on weekends.

Most importantly, our clinical information from test results to diagnoses and medications are all at my fingertips via the app on my phone. I can now easily share all my information with my child's pediatrician upon well-child visits so that everyone on his care team is on the same page.

If you haven't signed up, you can do so by clicking here. As a working mom, life is busy. MyChart makes life a bit easier and allows me some peace of mind knowing I can keep up with my kiddos' information all in one place - anywhere, anytime I need it.
