Adult Volunteers

Arkansas Children’s depends on volunteers to provide assistance for our patients, their families and hospital staff. Whether you’re a retiree wanting to give back to the community, a college student hoping to fulfill a service requirement, or just have a simple desire to help others during your free time, we offer a wide array of opportunities.

We ask all adult volunteers to commit to one three-hour shift per week, at the same day and time, for a minimum of three months. Weekday, evening and weekend shifts are available in most direct patient care areas.

The process for becoming an Arkansas Children’s volunteer takes time, but it is meant to ensure the safety of patients and families as well as the success of our volunteers.
