 About the Fellowship

The Arkansas Children's Administrative Fellowship is a one-year, system fellowship. The Administrative Fellow position reports to and works very closely with Marcy Doderer, President and CEO of Arkansas Children's. While the Administrative Fellow will reside in Little Rock, the fellowship structure will provide ample opportunities to work on projects with teams and leadership across the Arkansas Children's System.

Past Projects Have Included:

  • Assisting in leading and promoting the utilization of a brand new application developed by the organization to track senior leadership-led action plans related to organizational enterprise risk management goals
  • Development of a strategic plan outlining a major expansion of Medical Legal Partnership services statewide
  • Heading a group of Arkansas Children's leaders in the development of key initiatives in areas of focus in the new five-year Strategic Plan for the system
  • Project management of the construction and operationalization of a brand-new outpatient clinic from the ground up
  • Winter census planning and coordination between campuses for smooth management of peak inpatient volumes during late fall and winter months
  • Leading a group of systems analysts to develop a new dashboard within Epic to provide key operational information needed to make important decisions during a time of crisis.
