Headshot of Darrow Jones (LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas) June 30, 2025 | Darrow Jones, owner of Jones & Son Diamond & Bridal Fine Jewelry, has made a transformative $1 million estate trust provision in support of Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH). This legacy gift will help ensure families across the state have access to expert, compassionate pediatric care for generations to come. With this commitment, Darrow Jones — through both his personal philanthropy and the ongoing generosity of Jones & Son — has contributed more than $2.5 million in cumulative support to Arkansas Children’s.

A Legacy of Giving: Lasting Impact through Generosity

Since 2009, Darrow Jones has been a devoted partner to Arkansas Children’s and the ACH Auxiliary, demonstrating a deep dedication through sponsorships, donations and community engagement.

Jones & Son proudly serves as the official jeweler and presenting sponsor of Miracle Ball, the annual black-tie gala hosted by the ACH Auxiliary and the Arkansas Children’s Foundation. Jones & Son also generously supports a la Carte – the ACH Auxiliary’s annual tasting event, featuring local cuisine and an online auction. Each year, Jones & Son provides an exquisite collection of featured jewelry in support of the event and its fundraising goals.

Beyond event sponsorships, Darrow Jones also invests in the future through his support of the ACH Auxiliary’s ACHievers Program, which introduces 9th-grade students to health care careers, volunteerism, and the importance of philanthropy. Each ACHiever is honored at the end of the year with a special gift of jewelry or a watch from Jones & Son — a meaningful reminder of their experience and service.

“Giving back is one of the most meaningful ways we can serve our community,” said Darrow Jones. “Arkansas Children’s has always held a special place in our hearts, and I’m proud to support the hospital and its mission to improve the lives of children — not just today, but for generations to come.”

More Than a Gift — A Partnership for a Better Future

“Darrow, along with the Jones & Son team, represents the very best of personal and corporate philanthropy,” said Fred Scarborough, executive vice president and chief development officer at Arkansas Children’s. “A gift made through estate planning is among the most meaningful — it signifies the Arkansas Children’s mission has become one of the donor’s highest lifetime priorities. We hold that honor with deep respect. This gift ensures lasting support for the future and is a powerful inspiration to our team and community — commemorating a legacy of service that will be felt for generations.”

With this estate provision, Darrow Jones joins a growing community of visionary leaders who are choosing to make planned gifts — a lasting way to align charitable giving with long-term financial and estate planning. These commitments help secure the future of Arkansas Children’s while providing donors with enduring impact and potential financial benefits.
