    • Nurses

    • Ear and Eye Doctors
    • Licensed Mental Health Care Workers
  • What care is offered?

    • Routine physical exams and sports physicals
    • Minor wound care
    • Shots
    • Lab tests
    • Health education and counseling
    • Teaching good habits and weight control
    • Prescriptions drugs
    • Classroom presentations
    • Referrals to a provider, if needed
    • Behavioral healthcare and counseling
  • Does the parent or guardian have to be present during the visit?

    • No, the parent or guardian does not have to be present at the visit.
    • Students can be seen during school hours with written permission from the parent or guardian.
  • Can my child still see their regular doctor?

    • Yes, the clinic is extra care and does not replace your child's normal doctor.
    • The APRN will work with your child's normal doctor to let them know what happened during the visit.
  • Will my child's insurance be billed?

    • If the child has insurance, it may be billed.
    • No student will be turned away if they don't have insurance or the inability to pay.
